Rob Fitzpatrick (“Mom Test”) to Brief on Founder Assets and Safety Nets Fri-May-1
I am excited to announce a last minute update for this Friday (May-1-2020)
Rob Fitzpatrick joins us from Barcelona as featured attendee. He will offer short briefing on assets that founders bring to their startups and how they can develop them further over the course of their entrepreneurial careers. Rob will take attendees through a short exercise to identify their key assets, including: skills, insights, audiences, access to good cofounders, etc.
Rob will also take questions on soliciting feedback on your product from potential customers, drawing on the techniques and pitfalls he identified in his book, “The Mom Test.” The book offers a witty explanation of “how to talk to customers and learn if your business is a good idea when everyone is lying to you.” Rob has a five part series of short YouTube lessons on applying the Mom Test principles when you are interviewing customers remotely. This will be followed by our regular roundtable discussion.
RSVP (no cost online event) to get Zoom coordinates and access to a Google Doc for shared note taking.
Come join entrepreneurs who eat problems for breakfast®. At a Bootstrappers Breakfast® we have serious conversations about growing a business based on internal cashflow and organic profit: this is for founders who are actively bootstrapping a startup.
The other attendees will all be in startups. It will be a chance to compare notes on operational, development, and business issues with peers. Now in our 13th year in Silicon Valley.
Warm Regards
