Minneapolis Bootstrappers Breakfast® Gives Tech Startup Owners Summertime Support

MINNEAPOLIS, June 5, 2012 — With coffee in hand and tablets, laptops or pens at the ready, technology entrepreneurs in Minneapolis will network, problem-solve and compare notes during a series of Bootstrappers Breakfast® meetings this summer (http://www.meetup.com/Bootstrappers-Breakfast-Minneapolis/).

The next Minneapolis Bootstrappers Breakfast will kick off at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Wilde Roast Cafe (65 Main Street SE, between Merriam Street and Central Avenue), and meetings repeat on the fourth Thursday of every month. Bootstrappers will meet in the cafe’s back room for an hour and a half. There, attendees — everyone from experienced high-tech business owners to entrepreneurial folk with the next great idea and an interest in starting a company — will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and engage in frank discussions about business issues, struggles and successes. Bootstrappers Breakfast meetings are highly interactive and focused on helping attendees solve problems.

The Bootstrappers Breakfast meetings “are a chance to compare notes on operational, development, and business issues with peers,” said moderator Kevin Spreng, a Minneapolis attorney whose practice guides technology entrepreneurs and investors in the areas of corporate finance, general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, strategic intellectual property monetization, and technology transactions. “Bootstrappers Breakfast meetings allow early-stage technology startup entrepreneurs to work through common challenges and become part of a supportive community of like-minded people, all while enjoying a great cup of coffee.”

At the beginning of each meeting, Bootstrappers have the chance to give a two-minute talk about their companies, products or ideas. Group size is limited to 18 so everyone has ample opportunity to participate in conversation.
Registration for Minneapolis Bootstrappers Breakfast is $8.00 in advance or $10.00 at the door. Attendees pay for their own meal with a 20% tip. Learn more and register at http://www.meetup.com/Bootstrappers-Breakfast-Minneapolis/.
